Destiny 2 - Iron Banner - Season 2s Enemies
Destiny 2 - Iron Banner - Season 2's EnemiesFor the second season of Iron Banner, you've got a new enemy to face in Destiny 2's Iron Banner. In addition to new enemies to battle, Iron Banner has also introduced some changes to combat mechanics, as well as added some new content to gear up your character for a battle that's sure to be more difficult than ever. The new enemy is 'The Imp,' an enemy that's evolved from one of your old favorite enemies from Season 1. In addition to its previous melee, ranged, and psionic attacks, 'The Imp' has now also added a defensive ability that protects it from damage. As you can see, one of the goals of Season 2 of Iron Banner is to make Iron Banner more about gear than ever before. Although your actual defense in this new combat mode is always based on your armor rating, there are other sources of defense available to increase your overall survivability. We'll go over some of these defenses in more detail below.New Round of Battle Flow: This combat m ode includes an entirely new round of battle flow where your damage is based on how much health you have left. In addition to this, every player in the round is now affected by the new gear progression system where every kill made is a point. Every point you earn is multiplied by the amount of armor you have left, so you need to work harder to get a kill!Additionally, the enemy defenses in Iron Banner now follow a similar progression to that of the regular Iron Banner. This means that once you've killed an enemy, your armor will slowly regenerate, meaning that there will be fewer enemies left to take down. This new way of earning points in battle is called Exotic Gear and is earned by dealing enough damage to the enemy. When you successfully do so, you'llearn one point, which will be used to upgrade your Exotic Weapon. Now that you're familiar with the new ways of earning points in Iron Banner, you should know what items to focus on for each item to help you build up your defense as q uickly as possible. The end result is that you'll want to make sure that you don't deal any damage until you've reached 100% armor so that you can increase your defensive abilities.
